AR game, stamp tour to run through August; winners to receive souvenirs and local products
Ulju-gun in Ulsan will run two special tourism events from June 26 through Aug. 31 to mark the first anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage listing of the Bangucheon petroglyphs: an augmented reality game called "Ulju Great Adventure" and a stamp tour titled "Bangucheon Petroglyphs Course."
The AR game "Ulju Great Adventure" is set across eight of Ulju-gun's signature tourist attractions. Participants who complete AR missions at two designated sites will enter a draw, with 50 winners receiving tourism souvenirs including a Bangucheon Petroglyphs "Haetteumi" keyring doll.
The stamp tour "Bangucheon Petroglyphs Course" requires participants to visit all nine sites associated with the Bangucheon petroglyphs and collect a stamp at each. A draw will be held among qualifying participants, with 100 winners receiving Ulju local products worth 20,000 won (about $13) and two Bangucheon Petroglyphs magnet designs.
The county will also offer a range of participatory programs, including a special Friend Guide program, a social media quiz event and a travel review event.
