William Grant & Sons Korea, which operates whisky brands including The Balvenie and Glenfiddich, announced Monday it has appointed Jim No as its new chief executive officer.
"The Balvenie and Glenfiddich are not simply whiskies — they represent a standard of craftsmanship that no other brand in the world can match," No said. "My role is to ensure that Korean consumers can fully experience that value."
No is a global business executive with a track record leading premium consumer goods brands. He spent 13 years at The Walt Disney Company across Greater China, Japan and the United States, and previously served as global senior vice president of Dr. Jart+ at The Estée Lauder Companies.
He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School. He began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company, one of the world's top three management strategy consulting firms.
William Grant & Sons Korea's portfolio spans premium spirits brands including The Balvenie, Glenfiddich, Monkey Shoulder, Hendrick's Gin and Wildmoor. The company has been expanding its brand experience through its "Art of Dining" campaign, which blends whisky with gastronomy and the arts.
