A fire broke out at a textile factory in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, at around 9:12 a.m. Sunday.
Fire authorities dispatched 22 pieces of equipment and 58 firefighters to battle the blaze.
The fire gutted two single-story factory buildings totaling 200 square meters and one temporary structure of 83 square meters before firefighters brought the main flames under control at around 9:56 a.m. Mop-up operations were ongoing. No one was inside the buildings at the time, and no injuries were reported.
Police and fire authorities plan to investigate the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
