Mostly cloudy skies are expected across the country Sunday, with rain forecast for parts of Gangwon Province.

Rain will taper off in most areas, but showers will persist through the morning in Gangwon Province's mountain zones and along the East Sea coast. Forecast rainfall totals are 20–60 millimeters for the northern mountain areas and East Sea coast of Gangwon Province, 5–40 millimeters for the central and southern mountain areas and East Sea coast, and around 5 millimeters for inland Gangwon Province. Morning lows are forecast at 15–21 degrees Celsius, with afternoon highs reaching 22–30 degrees Celsius.

Dense fog reducing visibility to below 1 kilometer is expected in some areas from before dawn through the morning, including inland Gyeonggi Province, inland Gangwon Province, the Chungcheong provinces, the Jeolla provinces and inland areas of the Gyeongsang provinces.

Wave heights are forecast at 1.0–5.0 meters in East Sea coastal waters, 0.5–1.0 meters in Yellow Sea coastal waters and 0.5–2.5 meters in South Sea coastal waters. In offshore waters within about 200 kilometers of the coastline, swells are expected to reach 1.5–5.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5–2.0 meters in the Yellow Sea and 0.5–3.5 meters in the South Sea.
