Korea Industrial Complex Corp. announced Monday it has appointed Park Seong-gil, formerly head of its Planning and Coordination Office, as the new head of the Industrial Complex AI and Energy Division; Park Jin-man, formerly head of its South Jeolla Province regional office, as the new head of the Location Development Division; and Kong Seong-ho, a former deputy director-general at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, as the new head of the Corporate Growth Division.
The appointments are aimed at strengthening the agency's capacity to advance key projects, including the AI transformation of industrial complexes, industrial site development and support for the growth of tenant companies.
With the three new executive directors in place, the agency plans to accelerate the rollout of M.AX — its manufacturing AI transformation initiative — along with a broader overhaul of industrial complexes and enhanced corporate growth support.
"Through the appointment of new executives, we plan to accelerate the establishment of a manufacturing AI ecosystem under M.AX — a core national policy agenda — while advancing balanced regional growth and our transition into an industrial innovation platform," the agency said.
