Film draws on race footage from Islas Canarias Rally to highlight tire technology in extreme conditions
Hankook Tire & Technology announced Monday that it has released a new brand film centered on the 2026 World Rally Championship, the FIA-sanctioned top-tier motorsport series for which the company serves as exclusive tire supplier.
The film follows "Race Beyond Limits," a brand film released last year, and features actual race footage from the Islas Canarias Rally of the 2026 WRC season.
The company said it produced the film to showcase the innovative technology behind its tires — technology capable of delivering full racing performance even under the extreme conditions of Spain's Gran Canaria island, where rough, high-friction asphalt and sharp elevation changes push equipment to its limits.
The film features dynamic race sequences of rally vehicles fitted with the Ventus Z215 and Ventus Z210, Hankook's tarmac rally tires that embody the company's ultra-high-performance racing tire technology.
The brand film is available on Hankook Tire's global social media channels, including YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.
The WRC is the world's premier rally series, contested across extreme road surfaces on every continent. The 2026 season spans 14 rounds across four continents — Europe, Africa, South America and Asia — with seven rounds now complete.
Round 8 is the Acropolis Rally Greece, scheduled to run from June 25 to June 28 in Greece.
