Support covers exterior painting, roof repairs and fence work on aging homes
Damyang-gun has launched a home repair support project as part of the New Village program in the Daechi district of Daejeon-myeon, aimed at improving living conditions and the visual landscape of aging residential neighborhoods.
The project covers repair work on deteriorating homes within the Daechi district New Village program area, including exterior painting, roof repairs and the renovation of fences and gates.
Subsidies cover up to 90 percent of total project costs, with a maximum of 14.41 million won (about $9,440). Residents are responsible for the remaining 10 percent. For a project totaling 16.01 million won, the subsidy would amount to 14.41 million won, with the homeowner contributing 1.601 million won.
