Free entry for teachers, discounts for up to three guests; promotion runs through mid-July
Amid renewed public interest in teachers' rights — fueled in part by the Netflix drama series "Teach You a Lesson," which has resonated with educators, school violence victims and parents worldwide — Legoland Korea in Chuncheon is running its "Thank You, Teachers" free admission promotion from June 19 through July 16.
Teachers receive complimentary entry to the park, while up to three guests accompanying them are eligible for a special discount.
The park said it organized the event to express respect and gratitude to teachers across the country and to give them a chance to create lasting memories at Legoland with their students, families and colleagues.
All teachers and instructors at elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, kindergartens, daycare centers and taekwondo studios nationwide are eligible to participate.
Teachers can make advance reservations by visiting the official Legoland Korea website up to one day before their planned visit, filling out a brief survey and entering the size of their group. They must bring a valid ID and documentation confirming their teaching status upon entry.
Now in its fourth year, the "Thank You, Teachers" promotion has drawn more than 20,000 teachers and education professionals in total, establishing itself as one of Legoland Korea's signature pro-education programs.
More than 95 percent of participants rated their visit as very satisfying or satisfying, and over 80 percent also took the opportunity to explore Chuncheon and surrounding areas during their trip.
