Model Han Hye-jin has opened up about a series of trespassing incidents at her private villa in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province.
On June 11, Han visited comedian Kim Suk's villa in Gapyeong for a camping outing and recounted the unsettling experiences she had faced at her own retreat, sharing the visit on her YouTube channel.
During the visit, Kim Suk brought up her own villa on Jeju Island, saying it had apparently become something of a tourist attraction. "I heard it's been absorbed into the Jeju tourist circuit," she said. "Ra Mi-ran visited, and in the span of five to ten minutes, ten groups of tourists came up and asked her, 'Can we go in?'"
Han advised Kim Suk to install a front gate without delay. Kim Suk replied that people apparently wandered into Han's home too, once they spotted her.
Han then shared what had happened at her Hongcheon villa. "One time I had just stepped out of the shower and there was someone sitting on the wooden veranda, drinking coffee and smoking a cigarette," she said, describing the shock of the moment.
"There were even people who just walked in uninvited," she added, giving a rueful laugh at her own choice of words — "uninvited guests," she called them.
Kim Suk reacted with disbelief. "Smoking in someone else's home — that's a bit much," she said, before joking, "You should just open a café there." Han drew laughs by replying, "My mom said the exact same thing."
Han built the roughly 500-pyeong (1,650-square-meter) villa in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province in 2021, drawing considerable public attention at the time.
