Seven admissions experts cover everything from the 2027 college entrance outlook to tailored application strategies by admissions track
Gangnam-gu (district mayor Jo Seong-myeong) will offer a free "2027 College Admissions Early Application Strategy Briefing" through its online education platform Gangnam Ingang.
Content will be posted in sequence starting Friday on the Gangnam Ingang website and YouTube channel.
The briefing is designed to help college applicants and their parents better understand the complex early admissions process and build strategies suited to their individual circumstances. Because unequal access to admissions information can translate directly into unequal preparation, Gangnam-gu is making the content freely available online to anyone.
Seven admissions experts will take part. Instructor Lee Man-gi will address the "2027 College Admissions Outlook and Roadmap," covering trends in early admissions and how students should prepare. Instructor Lim Seong-ho will present "Predicting Cutoff Scores and Strategy for Early Admissions," laying out the key criteria students need to make informed application decisions.
The briefing also covers track-specific strategies. Instructor Oh Jae-seong will analyze student record-based holistic admissions strategies at major universities, while instructor Lee Chi-woo will offer practical early admissions guidance for mid-tier applicants. Instructor Lee Yong-eon will explain the opportunity-balanced admissions track for socially integrated selection, and instructor Lee Yu-na will walk through the characteristics of holistic admissions and how to prepare for interviews. Instructor Yun Han-ul will outline changes to early admissions tracks for medical fields and how to approach them.
"In a college admissions environment that is both complex and rapidly changing, accurate information is the most essential guide for students and parents," district mayor Jo said. "Through Gangnam Ingang, we will ensure that anyone, without exception, can access high-quality admissions information and build a strategy that fits their own situation."
