Broadcaster Park Mi-sun has shared an update on her life following her cancer treatment.
Park and her husband, Lee Bong-won, appeared Monday on MBN's variety program "Someone Else's Precious Family," where the couple was shown enjoying a date.
Lee used AI to plan the outing for his wife.
The two visited a park to see flowers before taking part in an enzyme sauna session together.
Park opened up about her physical condition since her cancer treatment, saying her stamina had not fully recovered and that she could not walk quickly.
The couple then went to a Korean beef restaurant, where Park was visibly surprised to find the meat was cooked on a cast-iron griddle rather than over charcoal. "After my cancer treatment, the hospital told me to avoid charcoal-grilled meat as much as possible," she said. "So I haven't touched it once. I was scared, and I knew I had to be careful." She added that when the griddle appeared, she wondered whether her husband had known and chosen the restaurant with that in mind.
Lee said he had deliberately sought out a restaurant with iron griddles. "Charcoal smoke apparently isn't good," he said.
Park marveled at the change in her husband. "He's become a different person — in a good way," she said.
Park was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2025 and stepped back from broadcasting to focus on treatment. She returned to television that November, appearing on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block."
