'Olive Class' to feature beauty and wellness experts
External partners Taling, Ridi and Cheongyeon also join lineup
CJ Olive Young announced Tuesday it is expanding experiential content and partner benefits for its Olive Members loyalty program.
The company is accepting applications through June 14 for an Olive Class held in partnership with skincare brand Clinique. The class, themed "Intensive Solutions for Summer Skin Concerns," will take place June 25 at the Olive Members Lounge inside Olive Young Central Gangnam Town, where a dermatologist will assess participants' skin condition and let them try featured products.
Olive Class is a small-group experiential program run with both in-store and external partner brands. Gold and Black Olive members — the program's top tiers — can enter a monthly draw through the mobile app. Sessions range from beauty classes covering personal color makeup and customized hair styling to hands-on workshops such as making aroma roll-ons.
The company is also strengthening its partner benefits. Through July, all membership tiers will receive discount coupon packs for online learning platform Taling on a first-come, first-served basis every day before 10 a.m. Collaborative offline classes for Gold and Black Olive members have also been arranged. On June 11 and June 21, points for content platform Ridi will be distributed by membership tier on a first-come, first-served basis. Discount coupons of up to 20,000 won (about $13) for home services platform Cheongyeon will be offered alongside those benefits.
"We will continue expanding differentiated experiential content and Olive Members benefits, while also introducing additional perks for consumers outside the Greater Seoul area," a company official said.
