100 small businesses from Yeongnam and Honam regions to be selected
Coupang Inc announced Tuesday it is accepting applications for the "2026 Coupang Digital Jump-Up Academy," a program aimed at helping local small businesses with digital transformation and sales growth.
The program is open to small businesses in the Yeongnam region — covering Busan, Ulsan, Daegu, North Gyeongsang Province and South Gyeongsang Province — and the Honam region, covering Gwangju, North Jeolla Province and South Jeolla Province. A total of 100 companies will be selected. Applicants must have been registered as a business for at least one year and either have experience selling online or plan to enter the online market.
Participants will take part in a roughly four-month hands-on education program covering AI- and big data-based product planning, online sales strategy, brand marketing and sales growth tactics. Core lectures and mentoring sessions will be held remotely, while an opening ceremony and product review will take place in person. The program also includes a special lecture by a Coupang brand manager sharing practical expertise. Companies that perform well at the product review, which evaluates product competitiveness, will receive an opportunity to join a Coupang promotional event.
Applications are open through June 19 and can be submitted through the website of program operator Sapiens4.0.
