Exams set at Yeonil, Dongrae, Daseon middle schools; applications open June 22 in person or online
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced Tuesday it will hold the second round of its 2026 elementary, middle and high school graduation equivalency exams on Aug. 11. Applications open June 22 and can be submitted either in person or online.
In-person applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. June 22 through 6 p.m. June 26 at Sodamjeong on the first below-ground floor of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education. Online applications close at 6 p.m. June 25 through the NEIS equivalency exam public service portal at kged.go.kr.
The exams will be held across multiple venues: the elementary-level exam at Yeonil Middle School, the middle-level exam at Dongrae Middle School, and the high-level exam at Daseon Middle School (Venue 1), Myeongjin Middle School (Venue 2), Choeup Middle School (Venue 3) and Haegang Middle School (Venue 4). Separate testing sites will also be set up at Busan Prison and Busan Oryun School.
Results will be posted Aug. 28 on the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education website at pen.go.kr. Further details are available in the official notice published on the same site.
