A Thai woman in her 20s who was selling vegetables at a market while five months pregnant and struggling under debt has won the country's top lottery prize after buying a ticket based on numbers she saw in a dream.

The day after the dream, she went to a lottery stand and found a ticket ending in "770" — matching the number she had seen. Only two such tickets were available, but she could afford just one.

When the draw confirmed her ticket as the winner, she broke down in tears. "I never expected to win at all. I barely had enough money to restock my stall because of debts, including what I owed for vegetables," she said.

Fellow market vendors rushed over to congratulate her when the news spread. Inthira said she plans to donate to a temple in her home village of Doi Musoe in Tak province, honoring the commitment she made to the elderly man in her dream. She also said her unborn child — now five months along — may have been the source of her good fortune, and added that she intends to keep selling vegetables.
