MBC's horror talk show "Simya Goedam-hoe" is coming back for a sixth season.

MBC announced Monday that season 6 of "Simya Goedam-hoe" will premiere June 22, armed with more intense stories and production. The show first aired in 2021 and has built a devoted fan base each season, establishing itself as one of MBC's flagship intellectual properties.

The new season moves from its previous Sunday slot to Monday nights — a deliberate declaration that the show aims to deliver terror powerful enough to cure the Monday blues.

The MC lineup that won viewers over in past seasons — Kim Gu-ra, Kim Sook, Kim Ho-young and Kim A-young — will again join forces for the new season.

Kim Gu-ra, a fixture of the show, has completed his long journey from skeptic to true horror enthusiast and is set to sharpen the program's depth by keenly dissecting the hidden details within each tale. Kim Sook commands the studio atmosphere with her ability to shift seamlessly between spine-chilling horror performances and well-timed humor.

Kim Ho-young will again showcase his high-energy credentials as a seasoned storyteller. Kim A-young said she would "sweetly bewitch the dark spirits like the devil's whisper and aim to be the full-attendance fairy this season."

Season 6 of "Simya Goedam-hoe" premieres June 22 at 10:50 p.m. on MBC.
