The 10th General Alumni Association and the 25th General Student Council of Daegu Cyber University held the "2026 DCU Walking Together" event May 31 at Gasan Fortress in Chilgok.

The event drew alumni and student council officers, current students, graduates and faculty members.

Participants walked together along the route from Jinnam Gate to the east gate of Gasan Fortress.

Participants also wore university-branded attire and distributed promotional materials to hikers and local residents as part of an admissions outreach campaign.

A roundtable discussion held after the hike gave attendees a chance to share ideas on university development and ways to strengthen student self-governance. Both associations pledged to build a sustained framework for cooperation.

President Lee Geun-yong said he hoped the event would "strengthen the bonds of the university community and serve as an opportunity to further solidify the foundation for cooperation toward the university's development."
