Membership service expands into finance and travel; AI-driven personalization next
CJ ONE, the lifestyle membership service operated by CJ Olive Networks, is expanding beyond its role as a CJ Group brand hub into a platform that touches nearly every aspect of daily life for its 32 million members.
CJ ONE links the group's broad brand portfolio — spanning food, dining, beauty and entertainment — through a single membership service. Cumulative enrollment surpassed 32 million last year, and the point redemption rate reached roughly 95 percent of points earned. Through June 30, the CJ ONE app is running a promotion that awards bonus points to customers who use two or more CJ brands.
On top of established CJ brands such as Olive Young, CGV, Tous Les Jours, The Market, On Style and Oli Peppe, the platform is broadening its partner network into finance and travel. The leisure platform NOL and iPark Mall locations in Yongsan and Gocheok are among the newest additions. The company says its focus is on widening customer touchpoints and improving convenience.
CJ ONE has also overhauled the mobile app's user interface and experience through a series of updates aimed at making the service significantly easier to use.
Looking ahead, CJ ONE plans to accelerate its AI transformation — known as AX — to establish itself as a next-generation digital marketing platform built around hyper-personalized service.
