Comedian Park Mi-sun has shared her delight after taking a day-trip package tour to Danyang, North Chungcheong Province.
A video titled "Day Trip to Danyang by Bus" was posted to Park's YouTube channel on Thursday. Before departing, she told viewers, "It's a 93,000-won (about $61) trip — meals included, and we get to tour by bus. It sounds like so much fun."
Once aboard the tour bus, Park spotted the breakfast service and massage chairs and quipped, "Girls, this is the kind of trip your moms love. One 100,000-won bill is all it takes."
After arriving in Danyang, she said, "Coming here as a group, walking together — it's so fun. I'm having a great time." Taking in the riverside scenery, she marveled, "When else would I ever get to come to Danyang like this?" She added that she wanted to return with friends and with her husband.
After exploring the cliffside walkway and the Mancheonha Skywalk observation deck, Park boarded a boat to take in the Eight Scenic Wonders of Danyang. "It's genuinely stunning. Incredible. I love it so much. I'm traveling all this because of my daughters," she said.
"I'm so happy to still be alive and out here exploring like this," Park said. "I'm going to stay healthy. I need to keep visiting wonderful places."
Park was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2024 and has been undergoing chemotherapy since. She has said that breast cancer is a condition for which the word "fully cured" cannot be used, and that she lives with the mindset that if it returns, she will simply treat it again. She is set to make a full return to broadcasting this month.
