Star Truck Korea, the official importer of Mercedes-Benz trucks in South Korea, is running a special promotion throughout June targeting commercial vehicle customers. The campaign focuses on reducing costs not only at the point of purchase but also through vehicle maintenance and replacement.

The company announced Friday a package of financing programs, maintenance services and repurchase support benefits. With high interest rates and a sluggish freight market making total cost of ownership (TCO) management increasingly important for commercial vehicle operators, Star Truck Korea said it is expanding its support to cover the full cycle from purchase through operation to replacement.

The standout benefit is a 120-month ultra-long-term installment plan available to buyers across all models. Star Truck Korea said the financing program can reduce monthly payments by up to 43 percent, allowing customers to acquire and operate vehicles more comfortably by lowering the upfront financial burden.

Customers who purchase any tractor model will receive a complimentary "Star Care 3 Basic" service contract valued at up to 5.5 million won ($3,600). The package covers scheduled inspections, routine maintenance and replacement of key consumables. Given the long-haul nature of commercial vehicle operation, the program is expected to improve maintenance cost predictability and help sustain stable vehicle uptime.

A complimentary vehicle health check program for vehicles past their warranty period will also be available. Star Truck Korea said the program will include regular condition checks and preventive maintenance support to improve long-term operational reliability for customers.

Customers looking to replace their vehicles will also find dedicated benefits. Those repurchasing a Mercedes-Benz truck will receive a special discount. Star Truck Korea will also support the trade-in of existing vehicles for customers who buy in June, reducing the costs involved in transitioning to a new truck.

Star Truck Korea's official service dealer used-vehicle division will offer residual value guarantees and trade-in benefits to existing Mercedes-Benz truck customers. The arrangement allows customers to handle the disposal of their current vehicle and the acquisition of a new one in a single process, easing the burden of switching.

Separate benefits have been prepared for customers of the New Arocs 4153K Single Reduction Dump, which is scheduled for its official domestic launch this month. The model is a new dump truck developed to reflect South Korea's heavy-load driving conditions and customer preferences. To mark the launch, Star Truck Korea will offer benefits to the first 50 pre-order customers on a first-come, first-served basis and will give gifts to customers who inquire about dump trucks.

"We will continue to expand our range of support programs to meaningfully reduce the operational burden on our customers and provide a more efficient vehicle operating environment."
