Lotte Wellfood signed an MOU at Save the Children's headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on Thursday to push ahead with its 14th Happy Home location.

Under the agreement, Lotte Wellfood will convert the Bucheon Women and Youth Center in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, into Happy Home 14. The entire fourth-floor youth cultural space will be renovated and redesigned as a dedicated cultural and recreational area for young people.

The Happy Home project is a corporate social responsibility initiative funded in part by proceeds from Pepero sales. The program has benefited more than 2,700 children to date.

"We will continue to give back to society the love we have received through Pepero, and to carry out social contribution activities that support the healthy growth of children," said Seo Jeong-ho, CEO of Lotte Wellfood.
