Seoul Milk Cooperative announced Thursday that it has signed an MOU with Fu Lu Shou, a Cambodian food retail company, to expand exports to Cambodia.

The signing ceremony was held Wednesday at Seoul Milk's Yangju factory and was attended by Seoul Milk Chairman Moon Jin-seop and Fu Lu Shou President Sok Samnang, among others. Fu Lu Shou operates a distribution network spanning 145 wholesalers in Phnom Penh and 24 regions nationwide.

Seoul Milk plans to use the agreement as a springboard for broader exports across Southeast Asia. Cambodia presents strong consumer market potential, driven by a high birth rate and a young population, and demand for Korean food products is particularly high there. According to global market research firm Fitch Solutions, Cambodia's food market is projected to reach $13.8 billion by 2028, growing at an average annual rate of around 7 percent.
