A photo posted on social media by Karina, a member of the girl group Aespa, has drawn attention online, coming just one day before local elections.
On Tuesday, Karina shared several photos on her social media account alongside the caption: "Tell me your MBTI and how you plan to escape if I come running at you like this."
In the photos, Karina poses in a sleeveless blue top.
However, some online users connected the timing of the post — one day before the local elections — to a political color controversy that surfaced last year.
Reactions were mixed. Some said the timing was bound to invite misunderstanding, but many others argued it was stranger to read political meaning into the color of someone's outfit.
During last year's presidential election, Karina posted a photo of herself wearing a red jacket bearing the number "2," which drew allegations that she was showing support for a particular political party. The controversy grew after political figures weighed in on the post, and it was ultimately deleted. Her agency said at the time that "Karina simply posted everyday content on social media and had no other purpose or intention whatsoever."
Meanwhile, Aespa recently released their second full-length album, "LEMONADE."
