Jensen Huang jokes about fan's empty wallet: 'Don't look here if you want a rich husband'

A video of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang cracking a joke after peeking inside a fan's empty wallet while signing it has gone viral, drawing wide attention.

According to Hong Kong's Phoenix Television and other Chinese-language media, Huang was approached by a fan at the opening of Computex 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan, on June 2 and asked to sign the fan's wallet.

After taking the wallet and hearing the fan say "thank you so much," Huang opened it slightly and remarked, "You have no money in here."

After finishing the autograph, he turned to those around him with a smile and quipped, "Ladies, this gentleman has absolutely no money in his wallet — if you're looking for a rich husband, don't look here."

Huang also reportedly pulled a 1,000 New Taiwan dollar bill from his own wallet, signed it, and handed it to female event staff as a gesture of encouragement.

For many fans, getting Huang's autograph carries meaning beyond a simple memento — it is seen as a way to absorb some of his aura of wealth and success. Items he has signed are also treated as rare collectibles and have changed hands at auctions and in secondhand markets.

The Computex exhibition hall was packed with people hoping to meet the Nvidia CEO on Wednesday. Huang fielded a steady stream of requests for autographs and photos, and some attendees chanted his name as he made his way through the crowd.

Huang also visited the SK Hynix exhibition booth, where he signed the company's HBM4E (seventh-generation) wafer and SOCAMM 2 product, writing "Please Make More" on the wafer and "LOVE SOCAMM" on the memory module.

This year's Computex drew roughly 1,500 companies from more than 30 countries, setting up over 6,000 booths — the largest edition in the event's history.

Meanwhile, Huang is expected to arrive in South Korea as early as Thursday evening, where he is scheduled to meet SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, LG Corp Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin, Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung and NCsoft CEO Kim Taek-jin.

His itinerary also includes throwing the ceremonial first pitch at a Doosan Bears home game and appearing on the tvN variety program "You Quiz on the Block."
