Tmap and Gangnam, Myeong-dong ads connected in one platform
Innocean has partnered with Tmap Mobility to launch what it calls South Korea's first integrated marketing solution linking a mobile navigation app with large outdoor digital displays.
Users can now see coordinated brand advertisements connecting the Tmap app and outdoor billboards at key commercial districts — including the Montessori Building on Gangnam-daero and the K Finance Building in Myeong-dong. Lotte Entertainment is the inaugural partner. Tmap users traveling near Gangnam Station will see promotional messages for the film "Wild Thing," set to open June 3, through both the app and the billboards.
The solution's key advantage is its ability to deliver a consistent message from the moment a user opens the Tmap app through to arrival at their destination, boosting brand recognition. Advertisers can configure campaigns in units of one day, one week or one month, depending on their goals and timeline.
"The essence of advertising is delivering the right message to the right consumer at the right time and place," an Innocean official said.
