Members to receive up to 60% discount on international shipping

One-on-one logistics consulting to sharpen export competitiveness

FedEx announced Monday it is partnering with the Gyeonggi Center for Economic Promotion and Innovation, known as GCEPI, to help small and medium-sized enterprises in Gyeonggi Province expand into overseas markets.

The partnership comes amid sustained export growth driven by semiconductors, advanced components and K-beauty products. Gyeonggi Province's small and medium-sized enterprises posted $11.7 billion in exports from January through April this year, up 8.6 percent from the same period a year earlier. The two sides said the agreement is designed to build on that momentum by strengthening logistics support and market access.

Under the agreement, more than 86,000 GCEPI member companies will be able to use FedEx international shipping services — including FedEx International Priority Express, FedEx International Priority and FedEx International Economy — at discounts of up to 60 percent.

The services are optimized for time-sensitive and high-value cargo bound for major export destinations across Asia, Europe and the United States.

The two organizations also plan to offer one-on-one import and export logistics consulting tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises with limited overseas trade experience. The program will provide practical guidance on customs procedures and country-specific logistics regulations to help companies navigate international expansion.
