Paris Baguette announced Sunday that it has surpassed 300 locations in the United States with the opening of a new store at Philadelphia International Airport in Pennsylvania.

The bakery chain has steadily expanded into prime US commercial districts, including Manhattan in New York and downtown Los Angeles. The Philadelphia airport marks its first US airport location — a milestone the company says reflects growing recognition of its brand competitiveness, given the high operational demands of airport retail.

Paris Baguette has built up airport retail expertise through stores at major international hubs, including Singapore's Changi Airport, Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia, Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippines and Phnom Penh Techo International Airport in Cambodia.

Philadelphia International Airport serves as a key gateway between North America and Europe, handling more than 30 million passengers a year. Paris Baguette said it expects the new location to broaden its exposure to global travelers and strengthen brand recognition.

The store is located near Gate 8 in Terminal C and operates as a grab-and-go outlet with no seating, designed to streamline customer flow. Its menu is tailored to the airport setting and includes packaged bakery items — cakes, pastries, sandwiches and salads — alongside made-to-order beverages and coffee.

Paris Baguette is accelerating its global expansion. Beyond the United States, it operates more than 730 stores across 15 countries, including Canada, France, the United Kingdom, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Mongolia. The company plans to complete a roughly 28,000-square-meter baking factory in Texas by 2029 to build out its North American supply chain.

"Reaching 300 stores in the United States is a symbolic milestone that signals not just a successful market entry, but the start of a full-scale growth phase," Vice Chairman Heo Jin-su said. "We will continue to accelerate our growth in the US and North American markets and strengthen our position as a global bakery brand."
