San Francisco Giants outfielder Lee Jung-hoo has been on a tear since returning from injury, collecting 11 hits in three games and recording his first five-hit performance in the majors while pushing his batting average back above .300.

Lee went 5-for-6 with two RBIs and a run scored Sunday, batting fifth and playing right field in a road game against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field in Denver.

He had gone 4-for-4 on Friday and 2-for-4 with a triple on Saturday, giving him 11 hits across the three-game series against Colorado. His season average climbed to .304 — the first time he had been above .300 since April 29, a span of 33 days.

Lee was placed on the injured list May 20 with lower back muscle soreness. He returned 10 days later on Friday and showed no signs of lingering effects over the three-game set.

Sunday's five-hit game was the first of his MLB career. He has had four four-hit games in the majors. In the Korea Baseball Organization, he went 5-for-6 once — in August 2018, his second professional season.

Powered by Lee's performance, San Francisco pounded out 25 hits, including three home runs, to rout Colorado 19-6 and snap a five-game losing streak.
