Innocean has teamed up with Tmap Mobility to launch Korea's first integrated marketing solution linking mobile navigation with large outdoor digital billboards.

The solution connects the Tmap app with outdoor displays at key commercial locations, including the Montessori Building on Gangnam-daero in Seoul and the K Finance Building in Myeong-dong.

Lotte Entertainment is the inaugural partner. Tmap users traveling through the Gangnam Station area will see promotional messages for "Wild Thing," a film opening June 3, through both the app and the billboards.

The solution combines Tmap's mobility insights — drawn from its position as Korea's largest navigation platform — with Innocean's outdoor media capabilities, allowing consumers to encounter brand messages naturally while on the move.

Its key advantage is the ability to deliver a consistent message from the moment a user opens the Tmap app through to arrival at their destination, strengthening brand recognition. The solution can be packaged in one-day, one-week or one-month units depending on the advertiser's goals and campaign duration.

"Delivering the right message to the right consumer at the right time and place is the essence of advertising," an Innocean official said. "This solution, which combines Tmap's mobility insights with outdoor billboards, opens new possibilities for weaving a brand naturally into consumers' everyday journeys."

A Tmap Mobility official said the solution would "offer new value that conventional outdoor media could not provide, by embedding brand experiences seamlessly into drivers' travel journeys."

A Lotte Entertainment official called the approach "highly innovative," saying the way offline billboards and mobile navigation are connected as a single experience means "brand messages flow naturally in step with consumers' movements — and we expect that to create real synergy for promoting 'Wild Thing.'"
