KT&G disclosed Thursday that its third-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 13.9 percent from a year earlier to 530.08 billion won ($395 million).

Revenue for the same period grew 4.3 percent to 1.91 trillion won.

Net profit for the period fell 75.1 percent to 104.12 billion won, according to preliminary figures.
