i3system posted an operating profit of 5.88 billion won ($4.39 million) on a standalone basis in the third quarter, up 39.4 percent from a year earlier, the company disclosed Thursday.

Revenue for the same period rose 31 percent to 42.43 billion won.

Net profit for the period came to a preliminary 4.37 billion won, up 30.9 percent on-year.
