Vote counting in both the Senate and House is underway as midterm elections to determine the balance of power in Congress for the next two years were held Tuesday (local time). All 435 House seats and 35 Senate seats are up for grabs. If the Democratic Party recaptures a congressional majority, significant changes are expected in President Donald Trump's remaining two years in office.
