Customers can book tire replacements on Sundays and holidays through the TBX membership app
365-day service environment built for commercial vehicle operators
Hankook Tire & Technology announced Wednesday that it is launching a holiday reservation service on its TBX Membership app, allowing customers at its TBX (Truck Bus Express) truck and bus specialty stores to book tire replacements on holidays.
The service is designed to help truck and bus drivers who find it difficult to visit stores on weekdays due to their operating schedules. Any TBX membership holder can use the app to check which stores are open on Sundays and other holidays, then book a tire replacement appointment at a preferred date and time.
To make a reservation, customers select "Holiday Reservation" under the "Store Reservation" menu in the TBX Membership app, then choose a store and appointment time. During the booking process, customers can pre-register the size, product and quantity of tires they need, making it easy to confirm what they require before visiting. Once a reservation is complete, the app sends a notification with the appointment time and store details, and customers visit the store at the scheduled time to have their tires replaced.
Hankook Tire & Technology is pairing the new holiday reservation service with its existing TBX Emergency Roadside Service, which provides 24-hour emergency tire repair 365 days a year, to address the varied operating conditions of commercial vehicle customers.
In addition, Hankook Tire & Technology is running several promotions for TBX membership holders. A "TBX Tago Sangpumgwon Tago" promotion offers discount coupons and fuel vouchers to customers who purchase eligible products through Nov. 10. The company is also running a partnership promotion with GoTruck, an integrated commercial vehicle platform, offering new app sign-ups a 20,000-won ($15) discount coupon.
Hankook Tire & Technology holds the No. 1 market share in South Korea's replacement truck and bus tire segment. Through TBX, the country's largest truck and bus specialty store network, it provides commercial vehicle customers with professional tire consultation and maintenance services. The TBX Membership app offers one-stop management covering everything from tire purchases to after-sales support, along with points accumulation and redemption and free warranty services.
Meanwhile, Hankook Tire & Technology is participating in the 2026 SEMA Show, North America's largest automotive parts trade show, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center through Friday (local time). The company has attended the show for four consecutive years since 2023, steadily expanding its reach among customers in the North American SUV and pickup truck markets.
