Q3 sales reach 260.1 billion won, up 16% on year
Cumulative operating profit for first three quarters rises 78% to 98.4 billion won
Growth driven by North America mid- to large-size tractor sales expansion and improved product mix
Agricultural machinery manufacturer TYM said Wednesday its third-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 124.7 percent from a year earlier to 35.8 billion won ($26.7 million).
Sales for the quarter reached 260.1 billion won, up 16.0 percent on year, while net profit for the period climbed 78.9 percent to 20.1 billion won.
For the first three quarters of this year combined, TYM posted cumulative sales of 812.3 billion won, up 14.0 percent from the same period last year. Cumulative operating profit grew 78.0 percent to 98.4 billion won, and cumulative net profit for the period rose 125.2 percent to 76.8 billion won.
TYM said the earnings improvement was driven by the introduction of strategic models in the North American market and a higher share of mid- to large-size tractor sales. The company also strengthened its local logistics and customer support network by establishing a new assembly facility in Pennsylvania and an integrated service and parts hub in Georgia.
Last month, TYM won the Gold Level Award in the tractor category at the 2026 Dealer Satisfaction Survey organized by the North American Equipment Dealers Association. The company ranked first overall in customer satisfaction for two consecutive years and received top industry ratings in nine of 12 evaluation categories.
"We will continue to grow by strengthening product quality and customer support capabilities and pursuing strategies tailored to the characteristics of each market," said Kim So-won, TYM's chief executive.
