GS Retail disclosed Wednesday that its third-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 18.9 percent from a year earlier to 132.13 billion won ($98.5 million).

Revenue for the same period grew 3.4 percent to 3.31 trillion won.

Net profit for the period fell 44.7 percent to 49.89 billion won, according to preliminary figures.
