Gwangjin-gu in Seoul will host a special invited lecture under its Gwangnaru Academy series at the Gwangjin-gu Office auditorium on Nov. 30 at 3 p.m.

Now in its 17th year, the Gwangnaru Academy is the district's flagship lifelong-learning program, offering residents a wide range of educational and cultural enrichment opportunities.

This edition will feature Yun Dae-hyun, a psychiatry professor at Seoul National University Hospital's Gangnam Center, speaking on the theme "The body shapes the mind."

Yun will draw on the field of metabolic psychiatry to explain how the body and mind interact, and will offer practical recovery strategies that people struggling with lethargy and anxiety can apply in their daily lives.

Admission is free and open to all residents. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through Nov. 26 via the QR code on the poster or by phone; walk-in registration will also be available on the day of the lecture.

For more information, contact the Gwangjin-gu Office's Education Support Division.

Gwangjin-gu District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho said he hopes the lecture will give residents worn down by daily stress and fatigue a meaningful opportunity to care for their physical and mental well-being and reset toward a healthier life.
