Daegu Cyber University announced Monday that its 2026 DCU Fall Festival, themed "Back ON School Trip," concluded successfully with more than 500 students, alumni and family members in attendance.

The event was organized to bring members of the university community together in person — a departure from the predominantly online nature of campus life — to connect and share memories of their student days.

Participants explored major landmarks around Gyeongju, a city steeped in more than a millennium of Silla Kingdom history, taking in the sights and atmosphere of autumn.

Particularly popular were a photo event called "Find the President" and a program in which departments uploaded group photos, adding to the festive mood.

The participation of alumni and family members alongside current students created a space for exchange that crossed generations and regions, and served as an occasion to reaffirm the warm sense of community that defines Daegu Cyber University.

"We are grateful to the students and families who traveled all the way to Gyeongju from every corner of the country," a university official said. "We will continue to expand opportunities for in-person interaction to enhance student satisfaction with campus life and build a university culture where everyone belongs."
