Strategic planning conference for 2027 set for next month

HD Hyundai carried out its 2026 executive reshuffle Monday, following last month's reshuffle of its presidential-level leadership.

The appointments were designed to maintain organizational stability while elevating key talent with expertise in expanding global business. The company particularly sought out executives capable of driving AI transformation (AX) and digital transformation (DX) on the foundation of their existing domain expertise.

In Monday's reshuffle, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Senior Managing Director Seol Gwi-hun and six others were promoted to executive vice president, while HD Construction Equipment Managing Director Shim Sung-woo and 22 others were elevated to senior managing director. HD Hyundai Oilbank Senior Manager Lee Kyung-won and 46 others were newly appointed as managing director.

HD Hyundai plans to hold a "2027 Management Strategy Conference" next month, bringing together the presidents of all affiliates to finalize next year's business plans and a detailed execution roadmap.
