OCI Group announced Monday that it will carry out its 2027 executive appointments and organizational restructuring.

A total of 10 executives will be promoted, including Kim Cheong-ho, who has been named CEO of OCI Enterprises.

OCI Holdings will expand its existing management planning department into a full planning office to strengthen group-level strategy development and management oversight. The restructured unit will set the group's medium- and long-term growth strategy and improve its capacity to respond to key management challenges.

OCI Co., the group's operating subsidiary, will reorganize into three divisions: management oversight, technology and safety oversight, and business oversight. The structure is designed to consolidate management under a dedicated head for each function, enabling faster decision-making and stronger operational execution.

The group will also establish new units to deepen expertise in core businesses and accelerate digital transformation. A semiconductor materials business division will be created under the business oversight arm to strengthen capabilities in that sector and pursue growth strategies tailored to each business unit.

A dedicated AX (AI transformation) and security organization will also be established to drive workplace innovation through AI technology while upgrading the information security management framework, allowing the group to get ahead of changes in the digital business environment.

"This round of appointments and restructuring is focused on strengthening functional expertise across OCI Holdings and OCI Co.," an OCI official said. "We will build a leadership pipeline to drive our core businesses and develop next-generation management talent to lead future growth, securing the group's medium- and long-term capabilities."
