Woongjin Food announced Monday it will release Korean craft editions of its flagship brands Achim Haetsal and Chorok Maesil to mark the company's 50th anniversary. The launch is part of a traditional culture product development project hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and run by the Korea Craft and Design Foundation.
The editions feature hand-drawn designs by Toolpress, a design studio specializing in hand illustration, rendering the key ingredients of each brand in a charming hand-drawn style accented with stylish cursive lettering. Customers can choose from special packages that include a table mat made from tightly woven natural fabric, a hanji calendar and hanji stationery, selecting whichever combination suits them.
The Korean craft editions will be available at convenience stores nationwide and online. Naver Plus Store will carry exclusive bundles of the craft editions and goods packages through a promotional sale offering discounts of up to 25 percent.
