'Stability with renewal': three presidents, three executive vice presidents promoted

Chang Ho-jin, president and CEO of Hyundai G.F. Holdings, and Park Hong-jin, president and CEO of Hyundai Green Food, have been promoted to vice chairman of Hyundai Department Store Group.
Hyundai Department Store Group announced Thursday that it had carried out its regular executive reshuffle, promoting a total of 27 people — including two vice chairmen, three presidents and three executive vice presidents — and reassigning 23 others. The changes take effect Jan. 1.
Han Gwang-yeong, president and CEO of Hyundai Home Shopping Network, along with Yun Yeong-sik, executive vice president of Hyundai G.F. Holdings, and Lee Heon-sang, executive vice president of Hyundai Green Food, were all elevated to the president tier.
Yu Tae-yeong, executive managing director at Hansom, was named president and CEO-designate. Park Jang-seo, CEO and executive managing director of Hyundai DF, and Kim Bong-jin, executive managing director and head of the product division at Hyundai Department Store, were also promoted to executive vice president.
The reshuffle was centered on the theme of "stability with renewal." The group had retained the leadership of its core affiliates during last year's regular personnel review, citing internal and external business uncertainties. "This reflects our intent to solidify management stability and accountability by elevating and strengthening the leadership of the holding company and key affiliates that have driven the group's sustained growth," a group official said.
