Free vehicle inspections and seasonal maintenance demonstrations offered

Facility tour covers repair, bodywork and paint processes

KG Mobility announced Thursday that it held a customer appreciation event at its KGM service center, offering free vehicle inspections and sharing tips on car maintenance and its importance.

The event took place Wednesday at the KGM Regional Service Center in Gunpo, drawing about 40 people from 20 families selected by lottery from among applicants.

Activities included free inspections of attendees' vehicles, live demonstrations of autumn and winter car care techniques, and hands-on smart key battery replacement practice. The program also featured a tour of the Gunpo facility's repair, sheet metal, color-matching and paint processes, along with explanations of advanced diagnostic equipment.

The free vehicle inspection covered more than 20 essential items — including tire pressure and fluid levels — as well as precision diagnostics using diagnostic equipment.

"Through this customer event, we had the opportunity to communicate with customers through live vehicle demonstrations and hands-on experiences about the importance of regular inspections that are easy to overlook in daily life," a KGM official said. "We plan to continue expanding vehicle inspection services to ensure safe driving and improve customer satisfaction."

In addition to regular seasonal services such as summer vacation and winter vehicle checks, KGM also runs special inspection campaigns covering flood-damaged vehicles and electric vehicle safety.

Meanwhile, KGM has been stepping up its eco-friendly management efforts, recently signing an MOU with carbon management firm Husi Partners in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to address the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.
