Samsung Electronics announced Thursday that it is hosting "Sound Legends," an exhibition tracing the history of Harman's flagship audio brands JBL and Bowers & Wilkins.

Held to mark JBL's 80th anniversary and Bowers & Wilkins' 60th, the Sound Legends exhibition opened Saturday at Project Space Line in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and runs through Oct. 31.

The exhibition features signature and latest models from both brands, including JBL's iconic "Paragon" and "L100 Century" speakers alongside Bowers & Wilkins' "Nautilus" and its newest flagship, the "800 Series Diamond D5."

A range of events are also planned for visitors, including a JBL 80th-anniversary artwork collaboration with artist Dawn and a "JBL Music Talk" session with music curator DJ Soulscape.

A stamp tour and social media verification event are also underway. Participants in the social media event will be entered into a draw for a JBL GO 5 speaker.

Samsung Electronics acquired Harman in March 2017 for approximately $8 billion, marking the largest acquisition in Samsung's history and the biggest overseas deal ever completed by a Korean company.

Harman has maintained its position as the No. 1 brand in the global portable audio market, led by JBL. Last year, it further expanded its premium audio portfolio by acquiring Bowers & Wilkins, Denon and Marantz for $350 million to strengthen its audio technology capabilities.
