Event held at Benest Golf Club in Gapyeong
Tournament fosters networking among Maybach owners
'Differentiated experience that reflects customer lifestyle'
Hansung Motor, the official Mercedes-Benz partner in Korea, said Wednesday it successfully held the 2026 Hansung Motor Maybach Customer Invitational, a private golf tournament for Mercedes-Maybach owners, at Benest Golf Club in Gapyeong on Monday.
Now in its fourth year, the annual invitational has become one of Hansung Motor's signature customer programs since its debut in 2023, offering Maybach owners a platform for networking and differentiated brand experiences through golf. This year's edition drew about 140 customers across 35 teams.
The tournament was designed to give Maybach owners a chance to connect and share memorable experiences on the course. Hansung Motor ambassador Park Jin-i and other professional golfers provided on-site lessons, while a talk show featuring pros No Seung-hee and Kim Ga-hee gave participants a chance to interact directly with touring players.
The event also incorporated a charitable element. The "Love with Hansung" team challenge invited participants to make voluntary donations, with Hansung Motor matching their contributions — extending the spirit of the tournament beyond the fairway. In addition, the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 and S 580 were on display.
Hansung Motor operates a range of premium customer programs centered on its integrated loyalty membership, Club Hansung, aimed at maintaining ongoing relationships with customers after their vehicle purchase.
Club Hansung offers participation programs spanning sports — including golf, tennis and cycling — as well as cultural, arts and luxury events, giving customers opportunities to explore the brand and connect with one another across a broad range of lifestyle interests.
"The Maybach Customer Invitational is one of our flagship programs, designed to let Mercedes-Maybach owners experience Hansung Motor's differentiated customer service firsthand and build connections with one another," said Kim Marco, chief executive of Hansung Motor. "Going forward, we will continue to offer special experiences tailored to our customers' diverse interests and lifestyles through Club Hansung, deepening the value we provide."
Meanwhile, Hansung Motor has been expanding its marketing activities to deliver differentiated customer experiences, including a recent private event called "Hansung Night" held at JP at Louis Vuitton in Jung-gu, Seoul, for its top-tier Club Hansung members and key partners.
