Special-edition products, food discounts featured; Traders and Emart Everyday also taking part

E-mart will offer limited-edition products and fresh and processed food at up to 50 percent off during SSG Day, a Shinsegae Group shopping event running Friday through Nov. 8.

Standout items include the GREAT Portable Screen UHD and Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Strength 125 Proof, both offered at reduced prices. Limited-edition sets will also be available — among them the Sempio X 800°C "Uri Mat" camping set, which bundles a camping frying pan with sauces and seasonings, and the Max X DOD Black Rabbit Pojang Cha Edition, which pairs a camping pot with a gas stove and lantern.

The "5K Price" lineup will spotlight specially planned products ranging from large-format items to collaborations with popular brands. Oversized offerings include a four-serving jumbo ramyun, a 1-kilogram kimchi fried rice pack and a 320-gram butter salt popcorn. Brand tie-ups include the 5K Price x CJ Beksul Grill Smoke Ham and the 5K Price x Seoul Milk Coffee Pori.

Fresh food will also be heavily discounted. All grades of Korean beef (hanwoo) will be sold at half price with a participating card, including LA-style flower galbi and braised galbi cuts. E-mart has prepared 160 tons of hanwoo — its largest allocation this year. Tantan pork and domestic samgyeopsal and pork shoulder will be 40 percent off with Shinsegae Points, and Spanish shaved samgyeopsal has been packaged in a 2-kilogram large-format product.

The deli corner will offer discounts on bacon potato pizza and giant croissants, while all fried chicken items will be 30 percent off with Shinsegae Points. Home appliances including the Ecovacs robot vacuum and Cuckoo food waste disposer will also be on sale, along with winter electronics such as electric blankets and hot-water mats.

The E-mart app's Digital Grab section will carry a limited run of the Pokémon Card Game 30th Anniversary commemorative pack. Traders will discount frozen seedless durian, shine muscat grapes and freshly harvested sweet potatoes, while Emart Everyday will offer fresh produce — including Gamhong apples, Jeju tangerines and south-coast raw oysters — as well as snacks at up to 50 percent off.
