SK hynix announced Wednesday that it will issue a special dividend from gains on its investment in Japan's Kioxia.

"We plan to return most of the Kioxia investment gains through a special dividend, to be paid in two installments — a third-quarter dividend and a year-end dividend for fiscal year 2026," the company said.

The third-quarter dividend will amount to 20,000 won ($8) per share, combining a 10,000-won Kioxia special dividend with an additional 10,000 won reflecting the company's earnings performance.
