Mayor Jeong Deok-young pledges continued support for center to grow alongside community

Yangju city announced Tuesday that Aseong Daiso held a groundbreaking ceremony Monday for its Yangju Hub Center at a site within the Eunnam General Industrial Complex.

The event was attended by Aseong Daiso Chairman Park Jeong-bu, Chief Executive Kim Ki-ho, company and partner officials, Yangju Mayor Jeong Deok-young, National Assembly member Jeong Seong-ho, and other local dignitaries, all gathering to mark the start of construction and wish the project success.

The ceremony included a project progress report, commemorative remarks, a welcome address and congratulatory speeches, followed by a ribbon-cutting and groundbreaking.

The city expects the Yangju Hub Center to create new jobs and inject vitality into the local economy, while also helping to energize the Eunnam General Industrial Complex and attract additional businesses to the area.

"I sincerely congratulate the first step of the Yangju Hub Center and look forward to seeing it successfully built and established as a new base that grows together with Yangju," Mayor Jeong said. "Yangju will continue to provide the support and cooperation needed for the hub center to be stably built and to thrive alongside the local community."
