Tata Daewoo Mobility announced Tuesday that it has opened a new Chungcheong Central dealership in Mokcheon-eup, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, to strengthen its commercial vehicle sales network across the Greater Seoul and Chungcheong regions.

The new dealership was established to secure a sales presence in key areas where commercial vehicle demand is shaped by South Chungcheong Province's industrial structure and logistics characteristics, improving customer accessibility and sales efficiency.

Mokcheon-eup, where the Chungcheong Central dealership is located, sits close to the Mokcheon interchange on the Gyeongbu Expressway, making travel to and from Greater Seoul, Daejeon and the Yeongnam region convenient. A connection via the Cheonan junction to the Cheonan-Nonsan Expressway also provides access to the Honam region. Drawing on this location, the dealership will serve inter-regional freight demand on routes linking Greater Seoul, Chungcheong and Honam. The company also plans to actively target raw materials and parts transport demand from the Cheonan-Asan manufacturing belt, which is home to a concentration of display, battery and automotive parts manufacturers.

With the addition of the new outlet, Tata Daewoo Mobility now operates 27 sales locations nationwide. The company plans to continue expanding its network in line with shifting regional demand and to build a structure that strengthens both new vehicle sales and customer management.

"The commercial vehicle market varies by region in terms of the vehicle types and services customers seek, depending on local industrial structures and logistics flows, so we are carefully reorganizing our sales network to match regional demand — and the Chungcheong Central dealership is part of that effort," said Im Hyeong-jung, chief executive of Tata Daewoo Sales. "We will continue to strengthen Tata Daewoo Mobility's position in the Cheonan commercial vehicle market, built on trust with our customers."

Jo Nam-sik, head of the Chungho-nam division at Tata Daewoo Sales, said Cheonan is an area where diverse commercial vehicle demand is expected, from trunk-line transport to parts delivery within industrial complexes, given its proximity to major expressways and industrial estates. "Through the opening of the Chungcheong Central dealership, we plan to expand our touchpoints with local customers and propose vehicles optimized for each customer's operating environment and business characteristics, thereby improving genuine customer satisfaction and sales competitiveness," he said.

Meanwhile, Tata Daewoo Mobility is continuing a range of marketing activities to broaden its customer reach, including a nationwide roadshow through the end of this month featuring 14 units of its urban mid-size truck "Hycen," visiting dealerships, logistics centers, freight companies and rest stops across the country.
