Cafe24 has launched an AI-powered service called AI Report that analyzes data to identify problems and suggest improvements for online store operators, helping them apply data-driven insights to business strategy and decision-making.

The company announced Tuesday that it is adding AI Report, an AI-based analytics feature, to its existing data analytics service Cafe24 Analytics.

Cafe24 described the core value of the service as going beyond data summaries to support the business decisions that store operators need to make. The service comprehensively analyzes data to identify key performance indicators and changes, then delivers findings on problems, improvement directions and expected outcomes in a single research note.

Specifically, the service analyzes eight areas: sales trends and time-of-day patterns, advertising and traffic channels, advertising referral path analysis, products and categories, customer behavior at each stage of the purchase funnel, shopping cart abandonment, new and repeat purchases, and search and referral paths.

Users can also choose between two report types depending on their analytical needs. The period report provides a comprehensive analysis of performance and changes over daily, weekly or monthly intervals. The custom report selects and analyzes data from whichever of the eight areas the operator requests.

The analytical perspective is also customizable. Users can generate reports tailored to five viewpoints: general overview, marketer, data analyst, product planner and executive.

Each research note covers the store's key performance results and core insights. The performance summary section presents eight key metrics — including total sales, purchase conversion rate and average order value — along with changes compared to a reference period. The core insights section highlights problems, improvement measures and expected outcomes. Items requiring attention link directly to the relevant store management settings, allowing operators to take action immediately.

Cafe24 said it plans to continue advancing its AI-based data analytics capabilities. The company described the launch of AI Report as part of that broader direction, following the introduction of AI Assistant, a natural-language tool, earlier this year. It said it will keep working to help operators analyze store data more easily and apply the findings to business decisions.

"How well you understand and use data is becoming a critical factor in the competitiveness of an online business," said Lee Jae-seok, chief executive of Cafe24. "We will continue to upgrade the data environment so that the data accumulated in our merchants' own stores can translate into new growth opportunities and business strategies through AI technology."
