The Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced Tuesday it will open applications for 4,663 units across 16 newly built rental housing complexes in the fourth quarter of this year, including the Happy Housing development at Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town Block S-12.

In the Greater Seoul area, LH will supply 3,554 units across seven complexes — led by Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town S-12 (1,424 units), Guri Galmae transit-oriented area A-1 (609 units), and Uiwang Wolam A1 (228 units) and A3 (218 units). Outside the metropolitan area, nine complexes will offer 1,109 units, including North Chungcheong Province Innovation (300 units), Daegu Yeonho A-2 (100 units) and A-3 (200 units), and Goheung Doyang (150 units).

This month, recruitment will open for 2,545 units across five complexes: Busan Mora (94 units), Incheon Bupyeong (350 units), Guri Galmae transit-oriented area A-1 (609 units) and Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town S-12 (1,424 units).

The Busan Mora integrated public rental complex (94 units), announced Oct. 15, will accept applications Wednesday through Friday, with move-in scheduled for February 2028. The Incheon Bupyeong Happy Housing complex (350 units), announced Oct. 19, will take applications Nov. 2-4, also with a February 2028 move-in date.

The Guri Galmae transit-oriented area Block A-1 Happy Housing complex (609 units), announced Tuesday, is within walking distance of Galmae Station on the Gyeongchun Line and Byeollae Station, which serves both subway Line 8 and the Gyeongchun Line. Applications will be accepted Nov. 10-12, with move-in set for September 2028.

On Wednesday, LH will announce the Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town Block S-12 Happy Housing complex (1,424 units). The site is slated to gain a new station — tentatively named Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town Station — and a GTX-C line stop, and is already close to Indeogwon Station on subway Line 4 and Gwacheon-daero, giving it strong access to Seoul.

In November, recruitment will follow for Uiwang Wolam Blocks A1 and A3 (446 units combined) and the North Chungcheong Province Innovation job-linked integrated public rental complex (300 units). December will bring additional supply at Gwacheon Juam Block C2 (344 units) and Uiwang Chopyeong Block A-4 (381 units), among others.

Detailed information on application schedules and rental terms for each complex is available through the LH Cheongnyak Plus website or the LH call center.

Meanwhile, LH plans to strengthen cooperation with the construction industry to accelerate public housing supply and will issue an integrated tender this year for public housing construction projects totaling 4,744 units.
